In the time since this book was written, I've developed greater appreciation for the signifigance of the metaphor. Having been recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, i.e. a "bump in the middle of my middle;" and a recent "carving on my pumpkin;" it is important to pass along these thoughts.
Consider the "seeds" taken and planted from the Bumpy Pumpkin as representing God's word.
Please use this downloadable version of the book as encouragment to spread the seeds, bolstered with the love that is the overwelming evidence of God's grace in you.
This is alone is our "very special purpose." All too soon, tomorrow becomes today.
